RJW Transport, Inc. seeks an Inventory Control Lead to supervise stockroom activities, coordinate cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory control practices across facilities.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, forklift operation, and leveraging WMS tools to optimize stock levels and reporting. Responsibilities include organizing stock areas, resolving discrepancies, and leading a team to maintain compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting, Coordinating Cycle Count programs, Product rotation.
• PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.

Responsibilities

• Maintains layout of stockroom, warehouse, and storage areas considering turnover and item characteristics.
• Studies records and recommends remedial actions for non-usable, slow-moving, and excess stock.
• Reviews records for accuracy and adequacy of stock levels and procedures.
• Schedules work for periodic inventories and prepares composite reports.
