Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to supervise stockroom, warehouse, and yard inventory. You will coordinate counts, review records for accuracy, and drive improvements in stock levels and processes.

The role requires forklift experience, familiarity with WMS (prefer Synapse), and the ability to lead a small team while ensuring safety and policy compliance. Travel to other facilities may be needed, with reliable transportation expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1–2 years related experience in warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains layout of stockroom and storage areas.
• Studies records and recommends remedial actions for slow-moving or excess stock.
• Reviews records for accuracy and stock levels.
• Schedules work for inventories.
• Prepares composite reports from Inventory Specialists.
• Traces item history to find and fix discrepancies.
• Issues instructions and expedites workflow with the team.
• Assigns duties and checks work for accuracy and policy adherence.
• Travel to assist other facilities as needed.
