Job summary

RJW Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to supervise and coordinate inventory activities in our Romeoville, IL facility. You will manage stockroom layouts, supervise inventories, and ensure accuracy of records while working with a team of Inventory Specialists.

The role requires 2+ years in inventory control, forklift/cherry picker experience, and proficiency with WMS (Synapse preferred) and MS Office. Travel to other facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting, Coordinating Cycle Count programs, Product rotation.
• PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.

Responsibilities

• Maintains layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas.
• Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with procedures; assess stock levels.
• Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
• Traces history of items to resolve discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
• Issues written/oral instructions and expedites workflow with team members.
• Travel to assist other facilities as needed.
