Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to supervise inventorying activities in the warehouse and yard. You will maintain stockroom organization, review records for accuracy, and coordinate periodic inventories to ensure accurate stock levels.

The role requires forklift and cherry picker experience, proficiency with WMS (Synapse preferred), and the ability to generate reports and communicate effectively with the team. Occasional travel to other facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in inventory control experience.
• 1–2 years in warehouse environment.
• Forklift and cherry picker experience a must.
• Experience with WMS software (Synapse preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities for inventorying materials, supplies, and parts.
• Maintain stockroom layout considering turnover and weight.
• Review records and ensure accuracy and stock level adequacy.
• Schedule work for inventories and generate composite reports.
• Trace discrepancies and initiate remedial actions.
• Provide written and oral instructions and expedite workflow.
• Travel to assist other facilities with reliable transportation.
