Job summary

Terre Haute Chevrolet is seeking a non-supervisory BDC Associate to respond to inquiries from sales prospects via email, internet, and phone, and to coordinate dealership appointments using preset guides and scripts.

You will utilize the CRM system to manage customer information, maintain data accuracy, and support an internet strategy to achieve a minimum 13% closing ratio per month. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Prior retail sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in automotive dealership sales or BDC helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries from various sources to schedule dealership appointments.
• Verify customer details and vehicle of interest; enter appointment into CRM/system.
• Respond to leads within ten minutes of receipt.
• Maintain phone call efficiency to meet service standards.
• Use CRM to manage customer data, notes, tasks, and reminders.
• Collaborate with BDC Manager and Sales Managers to drive internet-based closing ratios.
• Record performance data and document notifications.
• Adhere to company mission and training requirements; participate in meetings.
• Support inventory displays and maintain clean work areas.
• Attend required training sessions and follow company policies.
