Job summary

Floor & Decor is looking for a Designer to deliver seamless, consultative design services that translate a customer’s style, lifestyle, and budget into a cohesive concept. You’ll meet with clients, educate on project requirements, and build lasting relationships that drive loyalty.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, scheduling design appointments, advising on tile, wood, stone and accessories, and designing and selling complete solutions while managing multiple projects end-to-end.

Qualifications

• One year interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Design degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic math skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and support in-store design needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele.
• Advise on tile, wood, stone and accessories for residential/commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and attractive solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with clear communication and timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
