Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Consultant to assist customers with finishing touches for their home projects. You will greet clients, learn their needs, and craft design concepts that reflect personal style and budget.

The role requires strong communication, design knowledge, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced store environment. You will advise on hard surface products, schedule appointments, and guide projects from inquiry to installation, while staying current with

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Degree in Design is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematics.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele via networking.</br>
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice for projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple client projects with timely, accurate communication.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
• Stay current with design trends and use design apps and scheduling tools.
• Support company initiatives and drive sales goals.
