Job summary

Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start to finish consultative design service that builds lasting relationships and brand loyalty with customers. You will meet with clients, listen to their project needs, educate on requirements, and craft a design concept reflecting personal style and budget.

The role requires 1 year design or retail/sales experience, strong communication, and proficiency with basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Design degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
• Internal candidates must have 12 months experience in a design consultant role.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele.
• Advise on tile, wood, stone and accessories for residential/commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically pleasing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy and timely follow-up.
