Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to help ensure an outstanding shopping experience in a fast-paced retail environment in Philadelphia. You will assist with front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, and safety, while taking on Manager on Duty responsibilities during shifts.

The role emphasizes leadership development, training new crew, and driving sales during peak periods. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of management experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience and checkout flow.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures high service levels.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves ready.
• Acts as Manager on Duty during shifts and manages store operations.
• Opens/closes the store securely, including cash handling and alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives store sales and Controls expenses through merchandising and staffing.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising and task execution.
• Performs maintenance tasks like cleaning and stockroom upkeep.
