Five Below seeks an Interim Support Lead to guide front-end operations, drive sales, and manage store activities during peak periods or leadership leave. This temporary role focuses on outstanding customer service, cash handling, merchandising, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position requires a minimum of 1 year in management, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task under pressure while maintaining a positive, energetic store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience and proven leadership abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew deliver WOW customer service and a fast, friendly checkout.
• Train crew on BEST customer service and store policies.
• Oversee daily store activities and staff performance for excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves ready.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling operations and urgent issues.
• Open/close store procedures including cash handling and security measures.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to raise performance.
• Drive sales through merchandising optimization and staff effectiveness.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and loss prevention.
