Job summary

Five Below seeks an Interim Support Lead to drive a outstanding shopping experience. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will assist front-end operations, cash management, merchandising, cleanliness and safety while stepping in as Manager on Duty during shifts.

You will train crew, support onboarding, and partner with leadership to boost sales and maintain store standards during high-demand periods.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent.
College experience preferred.
Minimum 1 year of management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Creative thinking.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

Ensures crew members wow customers through personal contact.
Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience and fast, friendly checkout.
Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures service quality.
Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking on the sales floor.
Acts as Manager on Duty when needed and oversees store operations.
Manages opening/closing processes, including cash handling and security.
Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
Partners with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
Performs store maintenance (cleaning, stock room, etc.).
