Job summary

Five Below, Inc. is seeking an Interim Support Lead to join the Store Manager’s team.

This temporary role focuses on delivering an outstanding shopping experience by overseeing front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, cleanliness and safety, and by stepping into Manager On Duty on assigned shifts. You will support onboarding and training of associates, drive store sales, and partner with the store leadership to optimize merchandising and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members wow customers with personal contact.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts and own store operations.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership in merchandising procedures and recovery efforts.
• Perform store maintenance and ensure cleanliness and safety.
