Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to guide front-end operations, help manage cash and merchandising, and drive sales. This temporary role provides Manager on Duty experience during peak periods, covering a leave or busy season while maintaining customer service excellence.

The position requires strong communication, a minimum of one year in management, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Train the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock.
• Act as Manager on Duty during shifts and handle store operations.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms.
• Onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance (cleaning, stock room, etc.).
