Job summary

Five Below is hiring an Interim Support Lead who will assist the Store Manager and serve on the store management team during peak periods. The role focuses on delivering an outstanding shopping experience, supervising front-end operations, cash handling, and staff oversight.

The position involves training crew on the BEST service standards, managing opening/closing, and supporting onboarding and store processes while driving sales and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew delivers WOW customer service with personal interaction.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkouts.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures quality service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and stocking to sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, cash handling, alarms and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partners with leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery efforts.
• Performs general store maintenance and cleanliness tasks.
