Job summary

StevenDouglas is partnering with a client in SW Houston in search of an Interim Recruiting Coordinator. This part-time engagement requires 25–30 hours per week and is expected to last 2-3 months with possible extension. The position will work in-office on a hybrid basis.

The role focuses on high-volume requisitions, sourcing, interview coordination, and seamless handoffs to HR, with collaboration across HR during a period of transition.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for high-volume roles in construction/AEC is preferred.
• Ability to recruit for field-based roles (Estimators, Project Managers, Superintendents) and for leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of open requisitions (approx. 25, capacity 30–40).
• Source candidates, submit to hiring managers, collect feedback, and schedule interviews.
• Follow up with hiring managers within 24 hours to keep processes moving.
• Screen candidates referred by partners and hiring managers.
• Move candidates through stages and coordinate handoff to HR at offer.
