AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking an Intake Specialist to support patient access to care by coordinating referrals, reviewing clinical documentation, and ensuring services are set up accurately and efficiently.

Youll work with patients, providers, referral sources, and internal teams to navigate insurance requirements, confirm eligibility, and move the intake process forward smoothly. This role suits detail‑oriented, communicative individuals in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required.
• High School Diploma or Associate’s degree in a related field required.
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred but not required.
• Healthcare knowledge or exposure is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review medical records, payer guidelines, and eligibility prior to service delivery.
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibility and document interactions.
• Coordinate with referral sources and internal teams to obtain complete documentation.
• Enter referrals within established timeframes while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Navigate multiple EMR and online systems to obtain and manage documentation.
