Job summary

New Season is seeking an Intake Coordinator to manage patient registrations at our clinic. You will coordinate referrals from physicians, hospitals, and community sources, schedule evaluations, and ensure accurate data entry into our system.

The ideal candidate has a strong customer service background, experience with electronic health records, and knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes. This is a non-exempt, on-site role within the Clinic department.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background with ability to explain admissions process.
• Knowledge of electronic health records and medical terminology.
• Experience with medical insurance and patient data handling.

Responsibilities

• Schedule evaluations, meetings, and consultations for patients.
• Answer incoming calls with a strong customer service background.
• Prepare and maintain patient charts.
• Enter admission information including insurance, medical history, and demographics.
• Conduct pre-screen to determine medical necessity for Intake Assessment.
• Convey initial plan of treatment to referral source when applicable.
• Produce timely acceptance and completion of new referrals.
• Assist case management with referrals as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard business operations.
• Communicate with Clinic Operations Team to meet individualized goals.
• Adhere to service policy and CMG/New Seasons principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
