Job summary

New Season is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to greet, register and admit patients in our clinic, ensuring accurate demographic, billing and clinical data entry and a smooth appointment flow.

You will work closely with the Program Director, physicians and nursing staff, handle insurance verification and prior authorizations, collect co-pays, and perform general administrative duties while maintaining confidentiality and high service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year receptionist and cashier experience.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience.
• Strong customer service background and knowledge of electronic health records.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend written and spoken words.

Responsibilities

• Pre-register and schedule new patients, orient new patients and manage admissions.
• Collect co-payments and patient financial responsibility at time of service.
• Enter demographics, billing, and clinical information accurately in registration system.
• Maintain communication with Program Director, physicians, and nursing staff regarding intakes.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorization as necessary.
• Perform administrative tasks: answer phones, manage mail, maintain supplies and inventory.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with CMG/New Seasons policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
