Job summary

Float Health is seeking an intake specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits from a fully remote US base. You will act as a liaison between pharmacies, nurses, and patients, ensuring timely staffing and accurate visit documentation.

The role emphasizes exceptional communication, fast responsiveness in urgent settings, and strong organizational skills across Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack to deliver a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling
• Ability to utilize multiple technology platforms simultaneously
• Ability to manage inbound communication while supporting other tasks
• Ability to type 60 words per minute with high accuracy
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to digest and explain complex information clearly to all users
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits and manage new patient referrals
• Match appropriate nurses to patients and manage offers in the marketplace
• Onboard patients to Float Health and confirm logistics for home visits
• Communicate clearly with pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat and SMS
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure visit documentation and tasks are completed
• Prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with peers at specialty pharmacies
• Provide feedback to improve technology and processes
