Job summary

Float Health is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits from a fully remote base in the United States. This role requires rapid action, clear communication, and precise coordination between patients, pharmacies, and nurses to ensure timely home visits and high-quality service.

You will leverage Zendesk, Google Suite, Slack, and our platform to assign nurses, onboard patients, and maintain smooth scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with medical scheduling.
• Able to use Zendesk, Google Suite, Slack and similar tools.
• Fast typist with high accuracy (60 wpm).
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits and staffing through Float Health platform.
• Collect information from pharmacies and patients.
• Match nurses to patients and manage offers.
• Onboard patients and confirm logistics for home visits.
• Respond to restaff and reschedule requests.
• Communicate with pharmacists, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
