Job summary

Float Health is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits from a fully remote US base. You will liaise with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients to ensure timely staffing and smooth care delivery, while maintaining high standards of organization and communication.

The role emphasizes fast, precise problem-solving, proactive outreach, and cross-functional collaboration to improve workflows, technology, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to utilize multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to manage inbound communication while supporting other tasks.
• Ability to type 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to digest and explain complex information clearly to all users.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-of-care visits using the Float Health platform and tools (Zendesk, Google Suite, Slack).
• Match nurses to patients and onboard them to Float Health.
• Communicate with pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to complete visit documentation and tasks.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and manage schedules with accuracy.
• Learn new processes and technology continuously to improve workflows.
