Job summary

Float Health is seeking an Intake Specialist to coordinate start-of-care visits, manage patient referrals, and match nurses to patients in a remote US-based role.

You will liaise with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients using Zendesk, Google Suite and Slack to ensure timely staffing and smooth care delivery.

Excellent organizational skills, attentiveness, and strong communication are essential as you support patients and healthcare providers in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to utilize multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to type 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits and manage new patient referrals.
• Match nurses to patients and onboard patients to Float Health.
• Communicate with pharmacies, nurses and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Respond to restaff and reschedule requests and ensure timely staffing.
