Job summary

Float Health is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate timely start-of-care visits. You will act as liaison between pharmacies, nurses, and patients, using Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack for smooth staffing and care delivery.

The role emphasizes exceptional communication, organization, and a proactive mindset to improve workflows and user experience while supporting a fully remote US team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to utilize multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to manage inbound communication while supporting other tasks.
• Typing 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to explain complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits using the Float Health platform and tools (Zendesk, Google Suite, Slack).
• Collect information from pharmacies and patients and match nurses to patients.
• Manage offers in the marketplace to ensure fair nurse pay.
• Onboard patients to Float Health and confirm logistics and schedules.
• Respond to restaff and reschedule requests and communicate across channels.
• Work cross-functionally in shared queues and Slack to complete visit documentation.
