Job summary

Float Health is hiring a remote Intake Specialist in the US to manage new patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits. You will liaise with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients, using Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack to ensure timely staffing and accurate visit documentation.

You will excel with strong organizational skills, empathy, and a proactive mindset, delivering high-quality patient experiences while supporting workflow improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to utilize multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to manage inbound communication while supporting other tasks.
• Ability to type 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to digest and explain complex information clearly to all users.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Float Health platform and supporting technology to coordinate start of care visits.
• Collect information from pharmacies and patients to match nurses to patients.
• Manage offers in the marketplace to ensure nurses are paid a fair rate.
• Onboard patients to Float Health and confirm logistics for home visits.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with pharmacies, nurses, and patients by email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks across shared queues and teams.
