Float Health is hiring an Intake Specialist to coordinate new patient referrals and schedule start-of-care visits. You will liaise between specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients, using Zendesk and Google Suite to ensure timely staffing and accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes clear communication, fast problem-solving, and customer-focused service in a fully remote US-based setting. Weekend availability and PST-hour alignment are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of medical scheduling experience.
• Ability to use multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Manage inbound communication while supporting other tasks.
• Type at least 60 wpm with high accuracy.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent time management.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication for diverse users.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits using the Float Health platform and Zendesk.
• Match nurses to patients and onboard patients to Float Health.
• Manage scheduling, logistics, and communication across pharmacies, nurses, and patients.
• Respond to reschedule requests and maintain visit documentation.
• Communicate across teams via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Build relationships with pharmacies and patients to ensure smooth care delivery.
