Job summary

Float Health is hiring an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits. You’ll act as a liaison between pharmacies, nurses, and patients, ensuring timely staffing and a high-quality home visit experience.

This fully remote role requires strong organization, rapid communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving. You will use Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack to streamline workflows, onboard patients, and maintain accurate schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling medical visits and patient coordination.
• Ability to use multiple platforms (Zendesk, Google Suite, Slack) simultaneously.
• Handle inbound communications while multitasking.
• Type at least 60 WPM with high accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-of-care visits using Float Health platform and tools.
• Match nurses to patients and onboard patients to Float Health.
• Confirm logistics and scheduling with all users for safe home visits.
• Respond to restaff and reschedule requests as they arise.
• Communicate with pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, calls, chat, and SMS.
• Collaborate with internal teams in shared queues and Slack to complete tasks.
• Learn new processes and technology continuously.
• Provide feedback to improve our technology and workflows.
