Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking an Account Coordinator to support the Account Management and Consulting teams in servicing and retaining clients. You will respond to client requests, maintain accurate files, and coordinate with carriers and vendors to deliver timely deliverables.

The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, 5+ years in customer service, and a Life/Health/Accident license within 90 days of hire. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5+ years of Customer Service experience.
• Life, Health and Accident License required within 90 days of hire and must be maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing administrative support and coordinates with Account Managers and other service team members to ensure clients receive key deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.
• Serves as a client advocate and primary contact for assigned accounts.
• Assists in managing client expectations and service commitments.
• Answers correspondence related to client’s employee benefit plans in a timely manner; documents all client interactions and updates client service logs.
• Meets with clients and insurance company representatives as requested.
• Maintains client files accurately and communicates per company workflow.
• Identifies and resolves basic client service issues and researches billing issues on behalf of clients.
• Coordinates with clients on census data and data for insurance carrier quotes.
• Creates client monthly, quarterly and annual reports utilizing templates.
