Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. is seeking an Account Coordinator to support Account Management and Consulting teams in servicing and retaining clients, ensuring timely, accurate deliverables and professional client interactions.

You will advocate for clients, respond to requests, maintain documents, and coordinate with carriers and vendors to support benefits administration, billing, and reporting. This role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Life, Health and Accident license or must obtain within hire period.
• Minimum 5+ years of Customer Service experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; location dependent.
• Working knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, ratings, and underwriting procedures.
• Experience with agency management systems software and online rating systems.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administrative support to Account Managers and service team to deliver key client deliverables on time.
• Serve as client advocate and primary contact for assigned accounts.
• Manage client expectations and service commitments; anticipate client needs.
• Document client interactions and maintain updated service logs; respond promptly to inquiries.
• Meet with clients and insurance company reps as requested.
• Maintain accurate client files and communicate per company workflows.
• Coordinate census data, plan histories, and data for carrier quotes.
• Create client reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) using Relation templates.
• Support ACA, SPD preparation, 5500 filings, and actuarial reports.
• Assist with open enrollment and preparation of client presentations.
