Job summary

The role supports client retention, renewal management, and collaboration with underwriters. A high school diploma and P&C license are required, with 2+ years in account management preferred.

Qualifications

• P & C Insurance Producer License required.
• Two or more years insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service day to day client needs including coverage questions, policy changes, payments and cancellations.
• Manage the renewal process: obtain information, marketing, terms/pricing negotiation, quote review, renewal numbers, invoicing.
• Review quotes to ensure insurance requirements are included.
• Maintain client relationships and client satisfaction.
• Delegate work to Associate Account Managers to balance workload.
• Maintain relationships with underwriters and negotiate coverage.
• Prepare proposals, binders and client policy summaries.
• Set up and maintain electronic records.
• Follow best practices and broker standards for file maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to share coverage knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.
