Job summary

HomeWorks Energy is seeking an Install Technician I to proficiently install insulation in various structures while following quality standards, safety protocols, and project specifications. The role involves on-site work at multiple warehouse locations and requires the ability to read blueprints and work as part of a team.

Expected duties include measuring, cutting, installing fiberglass, foam or cellulose insulation, and sealing installations for proper coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with insulation materials, tools and techniques.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation materials.
• Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas according to blueprints or specifications.
• Install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, or cellulose in walls, ceilings, floors and attics.
• Seal insulation in place using staples, adhesive or other methods to ensure proper coverage.
• Install roof vents in attic spaces to ensure proper ventilation.
• Safety compliance and maintenance; maintain a clean, organized work area; perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools.
