Job summary

HomeWorks Energy in Massachusetts is seeking an Install Technician I to proficiently install insulation materials in various structures while following quality standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.

This full-time hourly role offers overtime eligibility, on-site work at our warehouses, and rapid growth toward Tech II or Crew Lead with increased earnings. You will work in a warehouse environment, may travel to sites, and may participate in driver training if eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with insulation materials, tools and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints or specifications.
• Strong teamwork and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installation of insulation materials.
• Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas according to blueprints or specifications.
• Install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam or cellulose in walls, ceilings, floors and attics.
• Seal insulation in place to ensure proper coverage.
• Install roof vents in attic spaces for proper ventilation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Operate company vehicles when required and complete driver training as needed.
