Job summary

QXO, North America’s leading distributor and installer of insulation, roofing, lumber and related building products, seeks an experienced Sales Consultant. You will sell to residential and light commercial accounts, build trusted relationships, and drive new business while meeting targets.

The role requires 3+ years in building products sales, a valid driver's license for company vehicle use, and willingness to travel locally (>50%). Flexible scheduling may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate leads, then follow up.
• Conduct daily sales calls, present proposals and close deals.
• Provide product knowledge and advise on materials and services.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs at sale initiation and assess sites.
• Manage the customer experience from sale to project completion.
• Travel locally as required and work flexible evenings/weekends.
