Job summary

QXO seeks a dynamic Sales Consultant to drive revenue for residential and light commercial accounts in a locally focused role. You will generate leads, present proposals, and close deals while building trusted relationships with customers and learning market trends to stay competitive.

The role requires 3+ years in building products sales, a valid driver’s license, and a flexible schedule with local travel. A strong commission plan complements base pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
