Job summary

QXO, North America’s leading insulation and building materials distributor, is hiring a Sales Consultant to drive new accounts and grow revenue in residential and light commercial markets. You will prospect, present proposals, and close deals with a focus on delivering value and building long-term relationships.

The role requires 3+ years in building products sales, a valid driver's license for local travel, and a flexible schedule that may include evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials based on customer needs.
• Understand the market, monitor conditions and competitors' products/prices.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception and inspect job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
