Job summary

QXO is seeking a Sales Consultant to sell insulation and building products to residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, make daily sales calls, present proposals and build trusted relationships.

Travel is local with more than 50% of time on the road; a valid driver’s license is required. This is a safety-sensitive role with comprehensive benefits and strong earning potential through commissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate leads; follow up on opportunities.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals and win new business.
• Manage accounts and build trusted relationships with customers.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials based on customer needs.
• Understand the market, monitor competitors and product innovations.
• Meet monthly sales targets and communicate safety programs to customers.
• Oversee the customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Other duties as assigned.
