Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an Instrument & Electrical Technician to provide technical support for construction, plant facilities, and field operations. The role involves repairing, installing, troubleshooting, and performing predictive and preventive maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and related equipment across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Responsibilities include maintenance of PLCs/DCS, I&E devices, and safe operation under DOT 192/193/195 and PSM guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with instrument and electrical systems in industrial settings preferred.
• Familiarity with SCADA, PLCs/DCS, and process control components beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, instrument, and electrical equipment for plant, pipeline, and compressor stations.
• Maintain PLCs/DCS, RTU end-devices, and associated controls within regulatory standards.
• Read schematics and P&IDs; perform preventive maintenance per DOT and company policies.
• Support on-call rotations and participate in safety programs.
