Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an Instrumentation/Electrical Technician to install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems across plant facilities and pipelines. You will work on PLC/DCS control and related electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role involves reading schematics, performing calibration and testing, and supporting on-call duties while mentoring junior staff and ensuring safe operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook and Word.
• Experience using software to troubleshoot, design, or configure control solutions (Wonderware InTouch, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, DeltaV).
• Extensive knowledge of DOT 192, 193, and 195 and OSHA 1910 related to electrical systems and testing.
• Understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC) and OSHA 1910.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrument and electrical equipment.
• Maintain pneumatic and intelligent instruments, electrical distribution, motor control gear, and associated software.
• Manage PLCs or DCS systems, process or safety controls.
• Read manuals, drawings, and schematics including P&IDs.
• Perform testing and documentation per regulatory requirements and preventive maintenance.
