Job summary
Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations.
The role involves repairing, installing, and maintaining SCADA, PLC/DCS, and related control systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines. Responsibilities include diagnosing and maintaining instrument and electrical equipment, participating in on-call rotations, and mentoring less experienced
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Experience with control-system software and PLC/DCS knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems and related equipment.
- Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics.
- Test and document plant control devices per applicable standards (DOT/PSM).
- Provide work direction and mentoring to others.
- Participate in call outs and safety programs.
- Maintain compliance with safety policies and LOTO procedures.
