Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Instrumentation/Electrical technician to provide instrument and electrical technical support to construction, plant facilities and field operations. The role repairs, installs, troubleshoots, and performs preventive maintenance on control systems, SCADA, gas compression, pipelines, and related equipment.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining PLCs or DCS, reading manuals and schematics, calibrating devices, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience troubleshooting and documenting control systems.
• Knowledge of DOT 192/193/195; NEC/OSHA familiarity.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Word).

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor equipment.
• Install, diagnose, and maintain PLCs or DCS systems and safety controls.
• Read manuals, schematics, and drawings; document activities.
• Provide mentoring and oversight to less experienced staff.
• Respond to call-outs and participate in safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and proper LOTO procedures.
