Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to provide technical support for construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, and maintain control systems, SCADA, and related equipment across liquid facilities and pipelines.

The role covers PLC/DCS troubleshooting, calibration of safety devices, and adherence to DOT and OSHA standards. On-call duties and safety program participation are expected as part of a committed field operations

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree in Instrumentation preferred.
Experience with control systems and field maintenance is required.
Knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrument and electrical equipment components.
Read manuals, schematics, and engineering standards to ensure safe, compliant operations.
Test, calibrate, and document plant and station safety devices per regulatory requirements.
Provide accurate written reports and mentoring to less experienced staff.
On-call duties and active participation in safety programs.
