Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an instrumentation/maintenance technician to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and related equipment at gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining PLC/DCS, interpreting schematics, and ensuring safety and DOT compliance while supporting on-call needs and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant industry experience preferred.
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs/DCS, and instrumentation for gas/processing facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety policies, and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, PLC and DCS systems in plants and pipelines.
• Inspect and repair instrument and electrical equipment and software.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance per applicable standards.
• Read manuals, drawings, and schematics; document tasks and outcomes.
• Participate in on-call, safety programs, and regulatory compliance.
