Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to provide support across construction, plant facilities and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and associated equipment in gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Responsibilities include reading diagrams and schematics, testing safety devices per DOT standards, and mentoring junior staff while adhering to safety policies and LO TO procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with control systems and field maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA and plant equipment.
• Read manuals, drawings, P&IDs and schematics.
• Test and document safety and control devices per standards.
• Mentor less experienced staff and provide oversight.
• Support on-call requirements and safety programs.
