Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. seeks an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to support construction, plant facilities and field operations.

You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on SCADA, control systems, gas compressor stations, pipelines. Essential duties include installing diagnosing and maintaining SCADA and electrical equipment, reading diagrams, ensuring DOT/PSM compliance, and participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with control systems and instrumentation preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook and Word.
• Experience with troubleshooting In Touch Wonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, or DeltaV.
• Knowledge of DOT 192, 193, 195 and OSHA/NEC relevant to electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, plant, pipeline, and compressor equipment.
• Maintain pneumatic, electrical distribution, and motor control gear.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs or DCS and process controls.
• Read manuals, drawings, and schematics for electrical systems.
• Test, calibrate, and document safety devices per applicable standards.
• Participate in on-call requirements and safety programs.
• Provide mentoring and oversee work by contractors.
