Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced sales professional in the United States to manage the full sales cycle in the building construction market. You will uncover opportunities, develop solutions, prepare contracts, negotiate terms, and provide ongoing post-sale service through delivery.

You’ll work with electrical contractors, read blueprints and wiring diagrams, present compelling proposals, and close deals while maintaining a strong sales pipeline and achieving monthly/quarterly/annual

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of sales experience in building construction.
• Experience working with electrical contractors and ability to read blueprints/wiring diagrams.
• Good oral and written communication and solid presentation/closing skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sales cycle from uncovering opportunities to closing contracts.
• Establish contact with prospects, qualify leads, and schedule face-to-face calls.
• Develop solutions/value propositions and prepare proposals and presentations.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and meet quota targets.
• Represent the company in trade shows and demonstrations to drive new business.
