Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an Installation Coordinator to manage end-to-end installation projects, coordinating with customers, sales, and field teams.

The role focuses on driving on-time completion, accurate documentation, and clear communication throughout the process. The candidate will handle scheduling, site readiness, and paperwork, while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional business communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule installations from initial customer contact to contract close.
• Make initial contact with customers within 48 hours of job booking.
• Communicate site readiness with customers and internal teams (lift, network, personnel).
• Schedule technicians and subcontractors using scheduling software to ensure on-time installations.
• Create project packets and provide installers with necessary forms and details.
• Track on-time material delivery and update the Installation Portal for stakeholders.
• Process paperwork to close out installations and coordinate with multiple departments.
