Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an Installation Coordinator to manage scheduling and coordination for installation jobs from customer contact through closeout.

The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, and installers to ensure timely completion and accurate paperwork. The candidate will contact customers within 48 hours of booking, organize resources, and maintain installation progress updates across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• At least 3 years of customer service and scheduling experience.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installers and subcontracted vendors onto installation jobs to ensure on-time completion.
• Make initial contact with customers within 48 hours of job booking.
• Communicate with customers to ensure site readiness and coordinate resources (lift, network, personnel).
• Create and distribute job packets with all installation details and forms.
• Track delivery of all materials and update the Installation Portal for stakeholders.
