Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building systems, is seeking a detail‑mocused coordinator to organize installers and subcontractors for installation projects in Long Island City, NY. This is a full‑time on‑site role requiring strong organization and customer service skills.

You will schedule installations from first contact to contract close, coordinate with internal departments, track materials, update the Installation Portal, and ensure on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

High School Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years of customer service and scheduling experience.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to communicate in a professional business manner.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Especially Outlook and Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining composure and focus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate installers and subcontractors on installation jobs.
Schedule installations from first customer contact to contract close.
Contact customers within 48 hours of job booking.
Track on-time delivery of materials and update Installation Portal.
Assist with other administrative tasks as directed by supervisor.
