Johnson Controls is seeking a driven sales professional in the United States to manage the full sales cycle for building construction accounts in the Colorado Springs area. You will uncover opportunities, develop value propositions, prepare designs and contracts, negotiate terms, and close deals while ensuring ongoing customer service through delivery.

The role requires strong communication, prospecting, and closing skills, with a track record in construction sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales in the building construction industry.
• Experience with electrical contractors; ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams is desirable.
• Good oral and written communication skills and sales techniques, solid presentation and closing skills.
• Must persuade and close sales; be self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales process from uncovering opportunities to closing.
• Qualify prospects and develop a sales strategy; determine customer needs and present product offerings.
• Develop a sales plan for assigned territory and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
• Conduct seminars and demos to generate and qualify leads and prepare proposals.
• Maintain established accounts and participate in events to grow sales.
