Job summary

Johnson Controls in Colorado Springs seeks an accomplished sales professional to manage the full cycle of building construction sales, from uncovering opportunities to closing deals and ongoing service through delivery. You will qualify prospects, develop value propositions, create contracts, and coordinate with customers through design, proposals, and presentations to meet monthly and quarterly quotas.

• Minimum of 3 years sales experience in building construction.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and sales techniques.
• Solid presentation skills and closing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales process from uncovering opportunities to closing and ongoing service.
• Qualify prospects by scheduling face-to-face calls, following up on leads, and using Johnson Controls marketing strategies.
• Develop a sales plan for assigned territory, segment territory by customer type, and maintain accurate territory records and pipeline.
• Allocate time effectively to meet or exceed quotas; conduct seminars and demonstrations to generate, develop and qualify leads and prepare proposals.
• Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact and participate in trade shows and events to grow sales.
