Job summary

IDEX is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the primary day-to-day commercial contact for assigned customers and to drive accurate quotations, order management, and proactive communication throughout the quote-to-cash process.

You will collaborate with Commercial Account Managers, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to meet customer requirements and deliver an exceptional experience. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years in similar roles are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary inside sales contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Manage customer requests throughout the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
• Prepare accurate quotations in accordance with pricing strategy, contractual requirements, and company policies.
• Process customer purchase orders accurately and ensure timely order acknowledgement.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure customer commitments are achieved.
• Communicate order status, delivery updates, risks, and changes proactively to customers.
• Support Commercial Account Managers by preparing quotations, customer reports, pricing updates, and account information.
• Assist with customer forecasting activities by maintaining accurate demand and order information.
• Resolve routine customer issues while escalating complex concerns when appropriate.
• Maintain CRM and ERP data accuracy and participate in continuous improvement.
